Hi Paul, I’d definitely like a sketching channel. I’ve always been interested in drawing more than painting, but I struggle with the tonal values. I loved your French scene and I do have those pencils, so will really have a go with them. Thank you!

Paul, I like the idea of working all parts of the drawing as the work progresses, instead of working individual areas right into the detail stage. However, how do you keep your drawing from becoming smudged as you move all over the entire surface? In the video you don't seem to use any sort of glove or place paper under your hand as you work. Your hand often appears to touch the areas of the paper that already have graphite on them. I'd really like to learn to draw better, and a Paul Clark drawing tutorial from time to time would be most welcome!!

Hi Paul, yes please to have a separate drawing channel. I actually dread the sketching part of watercolour. I’m terrible at drawing, everything goes out of shape. I was just doing the Old Barn line & wash tutorial of yours. The short guidance on perspectives was quite eye-opening for me. I would like to learn from you the basics of drawing as a beginner, before I go onto some advanced sketches. 😊

I've been watching so many videos of urban sketching using fountain pens only I forgot we're "allowed" to use pencils. Definitely getting those soft pencils. Love the colour wash. Really brings it to life. Subbed! 🎨

Would love to see more drawing videos. Especially if it involved as many media as possible such as conte, black and colored ink, grease pencils (china markers), lumber crayons 🙂and charcoal.

I had recently watched your (not so recent) video on plein air sketching, where you went out on the bike, bubblebath and all 😂 That pub again.. they must have really good beer...🤔 That video inspired me to go out and sketch more, great fun. I keep finding it hard to get tires and round objects right in perspective... so definitely need that drawing channel 😁 Thank you for another great tutorial 😃

Drawing channel? Yes, yes, a thousand times yes! Policing myself to practice drawing is very challenging for me even though I know it’s key to improving as an artist. Having something to spur me on would be fabulous. And since I love your teaching style, it would be a dream to follow you in sketching as well as watercolor.
